Hard challenge.
I'm not sure, but the best I could come up so far:
- The ruin of my chances of promotion was the price I paid for the incident.
- I am at a loss to comprehend Harold's behaviour.
- The former chairman was barred from attending the conference.
How bad is it?
Cheers,
Bia
What say you, Master Flavio?
ALMOST PERFECT, LADY!!!!!!!
THE FIRST ONE...HAS JUST RUINED YOUR CHANCES OF BEING SO...
I was sure that one was wrong....
anyway, could I try again?
Missing out on promotion was the price I paid for the incident.
I'm also in doubt between 'pay the price' and 'pay the penalty'.
But I guess that's the best I can do... Right now I can only think about Brazil's game.
Am I at least getting closer to the correct answer?
Cheers,
Bia
