Fill in the blanks with a suitable word for 4 medals each!

1) The reservoir ___________ gauges, at any instant, would tell the engineer how much water is in the system and where it is.

2) Some cars have a ___________ gauge that stays on full for a long time.

Speaking of "pronunciation" , guys, it's always a good idea to take a look at some derivations. Attention to spelling, too. SO, we have: to pronounce, to mispronounce, pronunciation, mispronunciation, pronounceable, unpronounceable. A pronouncement would be an official announcement, different meaning.

Cheers, Luiz.

The answer is water!
The examples are:
1) water gauges
2) a water gauge

In fact, Deborah, two different words should complete the gaps, neither of which being water.

Keep on trying!!

Medals are still up for grabs, everyone!!

I had to use "www.just-the-word.com" for this one! Pretty arduous!

1) The reservoir depth gauges, at any instant, would tell the engineer how much water is in the system and where it is.

2) Some cars have a fuel gauge that stays on full for a long time.

Is it correct?
