Hello my dear friends!
Last class we were discussing how much each part of the CPE is worth in terms of marks.
I decided to take a look at CPE Handbook for Teachers and it came in handy:
READING
Part 1 - Each correct answer in Part 1 receives 1 mark.
Part 2 - Each correct answer in Part 2 receives 2 marks.
Part 3 - Each correct answer in Part 3 receives 2 marks.
Part 4 - Each correct answer in Part 4 receives 2 marks.
USE OF ENGLISH
Part 1 - Each correct answer in Part 1 receives 1 mark.
Part 2 - Each correct answer in Part 2 receives 1 mark.
Part 3 - Each correct answer in Part 3 receives 2 marks.
Part 4 - Each correct answer in Part 4 receives up to 2 marks.
Part 5 - The four comprehension questions (40–43) each
receive 2 marks.
14 marks are available for the summary question
(44): up to 4 marks may be awarded for content and
up to 10 marks for summary writing skills.
LISTENING
Part 1 - Each correct answer in Part 1 receives 1 mark.
Part 2 - Each correct answer in Part 2 receives 1 mark.
Part 3 - Each correct answer in Part 3 receives 1 mark.
Part 4 - Each correct answer in Part 4 receives 1 mark.
That's it people...
I hope I have helped you somehow...

Good job, Diogo!
You've got 2 medals for your post!
This reinforces the point I made about managing time sensibly. One should not spend anytime longer working on part 3 than on part 2. Besides being easier, part 2 is worth more marks than part 3 (16 marks VS 14 marks). I rest my case! LOL
Y'all keep on Blogging!
