Two mistakes only. I'll give you a hint:

A) Check for an active to passive transformation!

B) Notice there's a difference between renouncing something and losing faith in it.

Yes it is, Ana! But you did not make use of the phrasal verb GIVE UP sth. Instead, you used GIVE UP ON sth. And that made all the difference...
